Our students excel because we have been able to provide a curriculum that addresses the whole child, and provides a complete curriculum. The quality of education in Alameda is at stake as well as our children’s futures. Please help us save our Music program now, so that we don’t lose our highly trained teachers to other districts and programs while we wait for the passage of the parcel tax, which will allow us maintain these essential programs in the coming years.

When these cuts go through, our 1-3 graders will be losing one hour of education each week. We cannot sit back and wait anymore! Music Education starting at 4th grade is too late!
