Kiwanis to Host Annual Chili Cook-Off

The Kiwanis Club of Alameda invites Alamedans and other Bay Area residents to its 13th annual Chili Cook-Off from 5:30 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28.
The event includes a barbecue dinner, chili tasting, dancing, a silent auction and other festivities.
The venue is the Al DeWitt Officers’ Club at 641 W Redline Ave., Alameda Point
Tickets are $25 for kids age 5 to 12 and $50 for adults.
A raffle set to take place at the event includes two iPads as prizes.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Alameda Kiwanis Foundation.
