A car window was smashed but nothing taken from a vehicle in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue early Friday, January 27.
This vandalism came just four days after someone broke a car window in the 1100 block of Willow Avenue, and several other smashed car windows and tire slashings were reported in the area.
Police advise residents to park their vehicles in sealed garage areas or near bright lights to avoid such incidents.
It appears that the alleged perpetrators may have just wanted to cause trouble rather than steal a specific item from the vehicles.
In the case of the Lincoln Avenue incident, there were no valuables in the car, such as electronic devices or bags, which can attract the attention of thieves.
