Alameda Municipal Power is celebrating its 125th anniversary as part of the City of Alameda’s traditional July 4th celebrations.
The agency and other groups are hosting a 4th of July Jumpin’ Jubilee for families from 12 to 4 p.m. at Rittler Park (Otis Drive at Grand Street).
The event includes music, games, jump houses and other activities. Tucker’s Ice Cream will be offering treats, like an AMP commemorative ice cream.
The price of tickets for the event is $10 for games and access to the jump houses.
There will also be food available for purchase, such as gourmet sausages, hot dogs and apple pie.
Parking for cars and bikes is available behind Wood Middle School (on the blacktop at the basketball courts).
