The America’s Cup Finals may be in their last day or two of racing.

Emirates Team New Zealand is we;; ahead of Team Oracle USA, having won six of seven races. Team Oracle USA is actually in negative territory by 1 point due to penalties related to a cheating incident in an early America’s Cup content.

The Kiwis need just three more wins to take the cup to New Zealand.

The Alameda Theatre and Cineplex is hosting free viewing of the races today (Sept. 14) and tomorrow (Sept. 15) at 1 p.m.

If more races take place — on Sept. 17, 19 or 21 — the theater will be open to the community again for the America’s Cup.

The theater says it features super high-definition pictures on a wide screen with high-quality sound.
