South Shore Center says that it will share the proceeds of funds raised at the Little Ice Rink over three nights to help Alameda schools.
Jamestown, the company that owns South Shore, and its ice-rink partner Perforce Foundation are asking community members to come out at 6 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8; Monday, January 13; and Tuesday, January 14.
Parent Teacher Associations at the following schools will benefit from this fundraiser include the Academy of Alameda, Alameda High, Amelia Earhart, ASTI, Bayfarm, Edison, Encinal, Franklin, Haight, Lincoln, Lum Maya Lin, NEA, Otis, Paden, PTAC, Ruby Bridges and Wood.

The Little Ice Rink will be open through Monday, Jan. 20. From Monday through Thursday, skaters can take to the ice from 3 to 10 p.m. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the rink is open from 12 to 10 p.m.
The venue also hosts Stroller Skates every Tuesday at 2 p.m.
