Spend an evening with artist Esperanza Surls cutting, folding, finding, painting and transforming a library discard into a work of art. Materials for images and collages will be provided or you can bring your own. Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Main Branch of the Alameda Library at Oak Street.
