The Times’ annual school supplies drive — Project Ready to Learn — runs August 1-17. For school supply wish lists and drop-off spots, click right here. Note that we’ve got additional drop-off spots coming online, including Walnut Creek Sports and Fitness, 1908 Olympic Blvd., Walnut Creek, which is open Monday through Thursday 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and weekends 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. And, Talbots and Talbots Kids in Broadway Plaza — corner of S. Main and Olympic — is also happy to accept your “Project Ready to Learn” donations.

after reading the post about Project Ready to Learn, I’d like to offer our Danville location as a drop off site. In addition, we can send the “word out” to our customers. Let us know what we can do to help support this cause.

Carla — You are an angel! We’d love to use CarlaPie as a drop off spot in Danville. E-mail me (jburrell@cctimes.com) to confirm the details, then we’ll post the address, hours, et al. Thanks for supporting such a worthy cause!
