1) Scoot down to Google Headquarters in Mt. View this Saturday for Doof-a-Palooza, a food extravaganza for kids and families. Cooking demos, hands-on activities, lunch and live music from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. ($12-$20).

2) It’s Jaws-time at the Monterey Aquarium, where a great white shark exhibit is drawing crowds ($15.95-$24.95).
