My 9-year-old daughter wanted to go as Snow White for Halloween. Look at one of the costumes we found online. We call it “Slutty Snow White.”

My daughter dressed up in a costume similar to the cop one — when she was 20 and going to a college party. Even then, I thought the costume was too revealing. No way she would have worn it as a tween.

My mom dressed my twin sister and I as a toothbrush and tube of toothpaste when we were eight because my dad’s a dentist. Sometimes “cute” is just plain humiliating.
