ZeumThe world may not be your oyster, but the Bay Area sure is. Here’s what’s up:

1) A dozen Yerba Buena-area museums are throwing open their doors to families this Saturday for an Arts & Culture Free4All that includes the Academy of Sciences, Cartoon Art Museum, Zeum and MOMA. Free.

2) Make a marionette at the Randall Museum’s drop-in art and science workshop Saturday. ($3-5) (KIDSTUFF)

3) Ooooo, stingers, fangs and venom?! Brentwood’s Los Vaqueros Interpretive Center’s kid-friendly workshop on creepy crawlies is Saturday. ($4-$6)

4) Make wild music at the Lawrence Hall of Science’s latest exhibit. Open daily. ($5.50-$10)

5) Or get a little fresh air and mini-golf exercise at an East Bay putt-putt course.
