Supermarket/Ron Rogers illustrationWe’re still dying over this story, which originally appeared as part of an eBay auction entry about Pokemon cards. Dawn, mother of six and blogger extraordinaire, took her brood grocery shopping last summer, an excursion she tries to avoid, understandably.

“You haven’t lived until you’ve gone grocery shopping with six kids in tow,” she writes on her blog, Because I Said So. “I would rather swim, covered in bait, through the English Channel, be a contestant on Fear Factor when they’re having pig brains for lunch, or do fourth grade math than take my six kids to the grocery store.”

What transpires is a tale of disastrous produce pyramids, ankle-whanging cart races and aisle asides any parent can relate to, right down to the miraculous appearance of Pokemon cards in the grocery bag. We can’t do justice to the hilariousness of the story, so click on over and enjoy…
