My favorite was Anne from Anne of Green Gables. Also Laura from the Little House series. I haven’t heard of Fancy Nancy but she sounds a lot like my niece who believes in rhinestones and the more the better.

My favorite when I was a child was Ramona Quimby and Amelia Bedelia.

I read one of the Fancy Nancy books awhile ago and loved it! I have two boys, but I think they would love Fancy Nancy just as much!
