Oh Daddy-O! We’re celebrating Father’s Day a tad early with a cool daddy-inspired book giveaway. And the prizes? Kinda great. We’ve got Jabari Asim’s picture book “Daddy Goes to Work,” Todd Parr’s whimsical “The Daddy Book” and our fave, Harry Harrison’s “1001 Things It Means to Be a Dad (Some Assembly Required)” – funny, poignant, philosophical. Want a sneak peek?
* Being a dad means becoming heroic.
* Being a dad means showing your kids how to fix stuff. It helps, of course, if you know how to fix stuff.
* Being a dad means letting your child dress herself for preschool even if she emerges wearing a Batman costume.
So click “comments” and share your very best “being a dad means…” We’ll draw a winner’s name next Sunday evening. (And congrats, by the way, to Linda, winner of the Junie B. books!)
