My very favorite Dr. Seuss book is Marvin K. Mooney Will You Please Go Now! It’s very funny about a guest who won’t leave.

As a child I memorized Go Dog Go at age 4 (actually PD Eastman – same genre). Apparently I couldn’t get enough of it! My son Ethan memorized Ten Apples Up On Top at age 3 because he had heard it over and over (and over!) again. His nana actually thought he was reading it! That one was written under the pen name Theo. LeSieg and is used in elementary and nursery schools today.

As an adult I love reading The Lorax to my children. But the book that still speaks to me the most is Oh, The Places You’ll Go! That one has to be my favorite.

“Hop on Pop” is my favorite Dr. Seuss book, as it was the first book I ever read for a book report! First grade was a bazillion years ago, but I clearly remember doing the book report on “Hop On Pop”. My six-year old son likes “Hop on Pop” too!

My earliest memory of Dr Seuss is reading “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” in the hospital as a small child. It kept me entertained during a scary period in my life. Definitely my fave Dr Seuss book!

I am a first-time G-mother with a very smart (in my opinion) little Grand-daughter, she is 22 months, potty-trained,knows numbers to 20 and alphabets with assistance & does not have a problem saying “Git-Back” when she needs some space, she is very much into books and games and I think she might find this one entertaining – A Doting G-Mother

I guess this is where I am supposed to enter for the Dr. Seuss game. My favorite book is How the Grinch stole Christmas.I watch the movie every year and I just love that story!
