School’s starting and soon the little munchkins will be scampering off to classrooms everywhere. Here’s hoping they get a teacher like Ms. Frizzle, as opposed to Louis Sachar’s inspired creation, Mrs. Gorf. The Wayside School teacher was so mean she’d zap children into apples if they got an answer wrong – much to the delight of young readers everywhere. My favorite teacher was my second grade teacher. She was a total sweetheart and she gave everyone a chance. I never met anymore teachers like her. The others were either mean or like to play favortism among their students. Oh…I’m so glad those school days are over! ~lol~

I loved my 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Baughman! She was the best! She was pretty and nice and always encouraged everyone to dream big and go far. I always loved the stickers she gave out and also the comments on the post-it notes she’d put on every assignment. They would always include some small drawing like a smiley face or a smiling animal. She made school fun!

My favorite teacher was in 2nd grade. She taught art and was the nicest lady ever. (I went to a very strict parochial school and this was in the days where many teachers kept a paddle hanging on the wall…yeesh.) Ms. O’Connell didn’t have a paddle, never raised her voice, never tried to instill fear – she was great.

My fave teacher? I love all my teachers from K-3. I guess my most fave is my 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Burkhardt. She loved cats and she was kind although she looked kinda mean. But even after I moved schools, she wrote to me and kept in touch for a while. She was really sweet!

My favorite teacher was my high school Spanish teacher Mr Barry. He made learning fun and was always available to help anyone in trouble.

My favourite teacher would be my english teacher when I was in high school, Mrs. Chua! She would always share a story or two with the class in between lessons. Although she was the head discipline teacher in our school, she’s very nice and sweet!
