We hardly know where to start. You know those uber-expensive Bugaboo strollers? Now, there’s a company that does Bugaboo detailing. You know, like a super fancy car wash only for strollers, instead of Maseratis. The Ooh-La-La package ($79.99-$89.99) includes upholstery cleaning, chassis and bassinet scrub down and all kinds of TLC for your wheels. Diaper fiasco? Projectile vomiting? No worries, San Francisco’s Buggy Bubbles does emergency “Uh Oh” work for $59.99. They also offer such specialty a la carte services as foot muff washing. (And no, we’re not sure what that even is. But Bugaboos are $900 strollers whose accessories include $25 cup holders for your latte … or perhaps for baby’s chai.)

We’re torn between admiration for the clever couple who came up with this one, and another emotion entirely. Reality check, please? Click “comments” and tell us what you think, or punch a button on the poll…

Anyone who uses this service has more money than they deserve. How lazy can you be? Then again, if you’re foolish enough to spend $900 on a stroller, you’re too materialistic to be sensible in the first place!

  2. Cathy Says:

The only timw my stroller got cleaned was when I sold it on craigslist. :)

    Gotta admire these entrepreneurs, no?
People who spend nearly a grand on a stroller aren’t going to blink at $70 for someone else to clean it.

  4. Stroller Guru Says:

I know the Bugaboo strollers are expensive, but the cost to ship a stroller 2 ways back and forth to a cleaning service is about $60 before the $59.99 cleaning fee.

I work for ebabyplace.com and Bugaboo strollers are great! They sell like hotcakes.

People can find the full line of these strollers as well as other great items at great prices at http://www.ebabyplace.com/category/strollers/brand/bugaboo.html

    Stroller Guru,

Where are you located? We do pick ups and drop offs for only $7.50. If you are in the midwest, well, then you’re probably right about the high shipping cost :)

The only thing is… I bought a cheap stroller and it fell apart in less then a year. They may be something to actually spending a little money on a stroller.
