“Physical and Emotional Impact of Sports on Middle School Kids”
March 18 at 7 p.m. at Stanley Middle School, Lafayette.

“Childhood Matters: Economic Crisis and Fathers”
March 21 from 9 to 10 a.m. on Green 960 AM and streamed live on Childhoodmatters.org. Rona Renner, RN and panelist Dr. Will Courtenay discuss the economic recession, layoffs and the impact on children.

“Parent First Aid & Emergency Care for Babies & Small Children”
March 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bananas, Oakland
A two-session class on lifesaving techniques, including pediatric CPR today, and safety and first aid next time. (The 2-class workshop costs $50 per person, $70 for couples, reservations required. Call 510-658-7353.)

March 28 from 9 to 10 a.m. on Green 960 AM and streamed live on Childhoodmatters.org. Rona Renner, RN and panelist Stephanie Agnew, parent education coordinator for Parents Place, discuss ways to raise respectful, well disciplined, compassionate children.
