Inappropriate Behavior-
I was at a nice restaurant tonight enjoying a quiet relaxing dinner. I was engaged in a pleasant conversation with a good friend of mine when our conversation and pleasant dinner was interrupted with someone's children screaming in our ears, so loud that we couldn't hear each other. The women with the two screaming children just laughed, encouraging this bad behavior. I finally went over and politely told the women that it was really not ok for them to let their children scream in a restaurant. They just laughed and one of the women was extremely rude and said about the worst thing she could have said. Her remark to me was uncalled for, rude, and very immature. It not only made her look like trailer park trash but it set a bad example to her children.
I know that I am not the only person that is really fed up with parents not teaching their children manners. NO ONE enjoys hearing a child scream in his or her ear. It's extremely rude and you are not doing your child any favors by not teaching them life skills that they are going to need to get by in this world. If you cannot get your children to behave in an adult environment then take them places that are more appropriate for them to act that way, like Chucky Cheese or the park.
If you are an adult and especially a parent you should be aware and considerate of were certain behavior is appropriate or not appropriate. Parents just because you have children, does not mean that the world should cater to you. Having children does not make you a saint and does not make you any more important than anyone else. I think I speak on the behalf of everyone that still has their hearing that we do not appreciate hearing your children screaming in our ears, especially when we are trying to have a pleasant dinner at a nice restaurant.
