OK, yes, this new flu is scary. The number of cases of H1N1 influenza, the virus formerly known as swine flu, continues to grow, hundreds of schools have closed – 300 in Texas alone – and the disease has spread to several colleges too. Some 22 seniors at Pennsylvania’s Slippery Rock University will graduate separately from the rest of their class, because they just returned from Mexico and don’t know yet if they have been infected. That said, all the U.S. cases seem to be very mild – milder even than the regular, nasty flu. So if you’re like me, you’ve been madly fretting and need a little comic relief, you might enjoy this, er, diagnostic web site that answers the question, Do I have swine flu?
