They are also starting the lunch girl groups at my daughter's school because of the problems the kids are having. It's about time the did something! I don't remember the cattiness of this age group or how hurtful some kids can be. I do remember some kids being left out and ignored because they were "different" and teachers did nothing to help it. That old bs line "girls will be girls" or "boys will be boys" is such a lame excuse for horrid behavior! I've seen people's lives destroyed by being the center of peers negativity. Where the hell are the teachers??

I sure hope this helps. Mean girls turn into mean wives and mean mothers. I thank God someone is seriously addressing aggression in girls.

In teen and college-age relationships, girls are more likely to strike their partners than boys.

Twenty-five to thirty-three percent of women in self-disclosure studies admit battering their male partners.

In half of marriages with abuse, both people batter each other. Some studies now show, of the other half, it's a woman battering a man seventy percent of the time.

Now if we can just get someone to use Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) funds to pay for classes for mean girls. I'm not going to hold my breath!
