He’s never with me and my family. He sort of left and abandoned us. My mom takes on the father’s role. To me, she is really super. Usually on every holiday we go out and eat at a fine restaurant. Of course, that includes father’s day. By the way in chinese culture, we celebrate father’s day on 8/8, because 8 in chinese sounds like Pa. So 8/8 means “Pa Pa.” I tend to search for an idead dad in books or movies, and hope to find one in the future who will be an ideal dad for my own family.
