Phineas and Ferb CD Giveaway

Phineas and Ferb (Courtesy Disney) It’s been awhile since I surfed the Disney Channel but when this CD from the Phineas and Ferb animated series popped up on our desk, courtesy of Disney, we couldn’t resist taking a peek. For those of you who don’t watch, P&F is a cartoon series about a pair of young stepbrothers, a pet platypus/secret agent and their mischievous adventures in suburbia. What the show’s really known for, though, are the songs. The show’s music was nominated for two Emmys in 2008. And this CD, “Phineas and Ferb: Songs from the Hit Disney TV Series,” includes 26 of those catchy tunes. Big fun. And it can be yours! All you have to do is click comments and tell us, what’s your favorite childhood theme song? (We only ask because we’ve got the Scooby Doo song stuck in our head.)

(Congrats, by the way, to Cathy, who won last week’s Strawberry Shortcake DVD!)

The theme from “The Greatest American Hero” is the first that comes to mind.

I stumbled across this post while looking for info about the CD. I’ve watched most of the episodes with my kids, and we just finished watching the “Cliptastic Countdown” with the top 10 songs. Great show.

I loved watching the Flintstones as a child and their song has always stuck in my head…”Flintstones… Meet the Flintstones, They’re a modern stoneage family….”
My daughters really enjoy the Phineas and Ferb cartoon and would very much enjoy the CD.

Started watching this program one morning when I woke early and loved the music and the colors ! At first my husband thought it odd that I was watching this cartoon, but when I came home the other day from work, he was watching an episode! We finished watching it together and laughed alot! Now when we call each other on the phone, we always say, “Watcha doooin’ ?”
Would love to have the music to listen to while I’m cooking or doing housework.

We LOVE this show at our house! We are so excited this week because they have been playing all of the candidates for the most popular P&F music clips. (Our favorite is Gitchi Gitchi Goo…) :)

  7. Nikki Says:

    Actually, The Simpsons.

However – Ren & Stimpy songs rank up there too.

  8. Cheryl Wilson Says:

Well Scooby Doo was a great one to sing-a-long with, but I have to say that Brady Bunch was our favorite. My sisters and I all got our own part to sing. Ah, good times, good times.

  9. Alisa Says:

My favorite childhood theme song has to be “Family Ties”, as I had a HUGE crush on Michael J. Fox. I would love this CD, my kids and I are always singing songs from P&F!

  10. Carole Says:

There were so many theme songs that made me run to the TV; they are to numerous to list. The kids I take care of were shocked when I began singing “S.I.M.P., Squirrels In My Pants.” The look of shock on their faces was priceless. After a hard day of learning, I thought it would be fun for them to form a group and perform their favorite Phineas and Ferb songs. They absolutely loved it!

  11. Lydia Says:

My favorite theme music was from the charlie brown specials!
