Christmas RevelsChristmas Revels: Check out the music, dance and folklore of 19th century Bavaria in this theatrical celebration of the winter solstice Dec. 11-20 at Oakland’s Scottish Rite Theater. Tickets are $12-$50; 510-452-8800.

Six Holidays: Children’s Fairyland celebrates Christmas, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Las Posadas and Chinese New Year all at once during its “Holidays of the World” festivities Dec. 11-20. Tickets $7.

Menorahs & Latkes: Join the Jewish festivities at Livermore’s Bankhead Theater — the lighting of the big menorah, livemusic by the Ferris Wheels, a Hasidic rock and roll band, plus doughnuts, latkes and children’s activities too. Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Free.

Every Holiday Tale: What would happen if you took every Dickens, Grinch and mistletoe tale and smooshed them into one production? You’d get “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and Then Some),” a comic romp at San Ramon’s Front Row Theater Dec. 11-13. Tickets $10-$16.

Santa Brunch: This storybook brunch featuring thespians from Clayton Valley High, Jeannie the Magician and, of course, Santa, benefits the Children’s Home Society, Dec. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the San Ramon Marriott Hotel at Bishop Ranch. Tickets $15-$30, reservations required; 510-267-1860.
