Cinderella (Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre)
Glass Slippers: Cinderella and those pesky stepsisters go after Prince Charming once more in the Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre’s musical take on “Cinderella,” now through Feb. 7 at Livermore’s Bankhead Theater. Tickets $25-$35.

Wild Night at the Museum: Walnut Creek’s Lindsay Wildlife Museum hosts a family-friendly fundraiser with food, wine, a treasure hunt and a wild animal show by Peter Gros of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom. Jan. 30 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. $50 for one adult and one child, additional kids are $10 each.

Snow in Berkeley: Habitot, Berkeley’s children’s museum, celebrates winter precipitation with a snow day Jan. 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Make snow in the art studio, build an igloo, hug a polar bear or send snowballs flying in the wind tunnel. Tickets: $8.50.

Soggy Sunday: Ashkenaz‘s new kids’ concert series turns every wintry Sunday into a sunny music fest. The Jan. 31 show features Orange Sherbet, the Magical Mystery Marching Band and more. Tickets $4-$6 at the door.

Floral Choo-Choo:Tiny trains, cable cars and streetcars wind their way through an impressive cityscape at San Francisco’s Conservatory of Flowers. It’s the Golden Gate Express Garden Railway, but with eco-flair. The Ferry Building Marketplace, for example, is constructed from corks, forks and cheese graters. Now through April 18; $2-$7.
