Lego Fest: Join in the celebration of all things Lego at this weekend’s Bricks by the Bay Lego Convention at the Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley. Check out the Lego exhibits and lavish constructions on April 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets $5 at the door, cash only.

Honest Abe: Danville’s Museum of the San Ramon Valley salutes one of our most beloved presidents with a new exhibit that opens April 9. “Abraham Lincoln: Self-Made in America” covers Lincoln’s life from his log cabin childhood to the Civil War, including seven learning stations with artifacts on loan from the Lincoln Presidential Library. Tickets $3 adults, $1 children, or $5 per family.

Astro Green: Oakland’s Chabot Space & Science Center blasts into outer space greenly when the museum hosts its monthly “Kids Go Green” program of eco-friendly demos and activities on April 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free with museum admission.

Skin Deep: Delve into issues of race, skin color, similarities and differences at Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science exhibit, “Race: Are We so Different?” The multimedia exhibit runs now through May 2 and includes Lawrence Hall’s signature blend of hands-on activities and compelling displays. Tickets $6-$12.

Teen Theater Fest: Berkeley Rep’s Teen One-Acts Festival continues through April 10 featuring original plays written, performed and directed by Bay Area teens. This year’s shows include “Off with His Head” – a dark comedy by Kelly Roderick about 1950s perfection, desperation and casseroles – and “The Death of a Nut,” a whodunit by Sierra Schoefer. Tickets $8-$13 at the door.
