PAN PACIFIC FEST: Join in the Asian-Pacific Heritage fun at Sausalitoâ€™s Bay Area Discovery Museum this Saturday for lion dancing, Hawaiian hula, Japanese drumming and more. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 29. Itâ€™s all free, but bring cash for the food carts.
SCREAMING THRILLS: Explore the physics, biology, thrills and chills behind amusement park rides at the new â€śScream Machines: The Science of Roller Coastersâ€ť exhibit at Berkeleyâ€™s Lawrence Hall of Science. Open daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., now through Jan. 2. Tickets $6-12.
WET OLYMPIANS: The Eastâ€™s Bay very own Olympians, the Walnut Creek Aquanuts, will dazzle the crowds this weekend at â€śNight of Championsâ€ť â€” an afternoon, really, of aquatic acrobatics, synchronized swim routines, appetizers and a silent auction from 2 to 6 p.m. May 29 at Walnut Creekâ€™s Heather Farm Park swim center. Tickets $25-$50, children under 5 are free.
GOOD GRIEF, CHARLIE BROWN:Check out Linus, Lucy and the gang when the Willows Theatre Company stages that â€śPeanutsâ€ť classic, â€śYouâ€™re a Good Man, Charlie Brownâ€ť now through June 6 at Martinezâ€™ Willows Cabaret. Tickets $14-32.
TUBING FUN: Cruise the lazy river, slip down water slides and enjoy some splashy fun at Newarkâ€™s indoor Silliman Aquatic Center. Tickets $4.50-$7.50.
