PAN PACIFIC FEST: Join in the Asian-Pacific Heritage fun at Sausalito’s Bay Area Discovery Museum this Saturday for lion dancing, Hawaiian hula, Japanese drumming and more. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 29. It’s all free, but bring cash for the food carts.
SCREAMING THRILLS: Explore the physics, biology, thrills and chills behind amusement park rides at the new “Scream Machines: The Science of Roller Coasters” exhibit at Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science. Open daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., now through Jan. 2. Tickets $6-12.
WET OLYMPIANS: The East’s Bay very own Olympians, the Walnut Creek Aquanuts, will dazzle the crowds this weekend at “Night of Champions” — an afternoon, really, of aquatic acrobatics, synchronized swim routines, appetizers and a silent auction from 2 to 6 p.m. May 29 at Walnut Creek’s Heather Farm Park swim center. Tickets $25-$50, children under 5 are free.
GOOD GRIEF, CHARLIE BROWN:Check out Linus, Lucy and the gang when the Willows Theatre Company stages that “Peanuts” classic, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” now through June 6 at Martinez’ Willows Cabaret. Tickets $14-32.
TUBING FUN: Cruise the lazy river, slip down water slides and enjoy some splashy fun at Newark’s indoor Silliman Aquatic Center. Tickets $4.50-$7.50.
