Wall-E & More: Donâ€™t miss the last weekend of the Oakland Museum of Californiaâ€™s Pixar exhibit, featuring Woody, Buzz, WALL-E and more. Little ones will enjoy the visuals, of course. Teen artists and parents will be drawn to Saturdayâ€™s panel discussion by Pixar artists and art history professor Heather Holian. Catch the Pixar talk from 2-4 p.m. Jan. 8. Blue Suede Shoes: Weâ€™re not sure what Elvis Presley has to do with conservation, but anything that combines Elvisâ€™ music with outdoor activities is OK by us. Save the Bay and the East Bay Regional Park District are celebrating Elvisâ€™s Birthday by planting native species plant along the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline in Oakland from 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 8.
