Loiaza had trade value if not now then certainly in the off-season. To get nothing for an average pitcher with a very reasonbale 1 yr contract at $7MM is perplexing. I have been a big A’s fan for 37+ years and a Beane fan but the Bradley deal stunk (we could have used his bat now), and releasing both Kennedy (he cost us Byrnes) and Loaiza (he cost us a 1st rd pick) for nothing stinks. Somebody check BB for a pulse. Thank goodness football season is about to start.
