In response to #1 Oakland Si: I think this doesn’t bode well for the health of either Chavvy or Nomar. I think this means Crosby is playing regularly, and they someone to back him and his .150 average up! Who better than a guy who was hitting .157 at Sacramento?

Also, Crosby is a backup up at first base, since Giambi seems unable to play more than 2 games in a row at first, and Landon Powell is playing even more out of position there than Crosby.

Uggh — tonight is another lefty opposing the A’s, just the reason they got Nomar. And yet he might be delicate to help us much this year. bummer!

As we saw last year, it’s bad news when this guy is on your roster. Especialy for a team that already can’t hit. Way to add another out to the lineup.

It’s early, but i’m ready to write this team off. Let’s just hope some of these young guys are able to take the next step. Right now, it looks like a bunch of 4 A guys.

well he’s certainly not being called up for his bat.

He now becomes the primary backup infielder. Where does that leave Crosby? (Or will Hannahan and Crosby man the infield corners? If so, Giambi shares dh with Cust. Nomar and/or Chavvy to the DL?
