Love the Minor League Rundown! Great idea. As you know, I think the real game of baseball is played down on the farm.

My buddies James Simmons and Jeff Gray have been pitching well of late for the River Cats. In his last outing on April 26th, James threw 5 innings, gave up one run and struck out 4. Unfortunately, he had some less-than-stellar outings earlier in the season so his ERA is still over 5. Jeff’s ERA over his last 6 appearances is 1.17 in 7.2 innings pitched. His over all ERA is 1.35. Keep an eye out for them. Jeff’s on the 40-man roster, so I hope he gets another cup of coffee with the A’s soon.
