Eric Chavez was pulled from the lineup today with a strained right forearm, which an A’s official said is the same ailment that was previously labeled an elbow injury. We’ll see what Chavez has to say after the game …

He hasn’t played in a game in almost a week. Do they really think he’ll be able to play — and effective — this weekend? If not just DL him already!
