We just had a power outage here at Tropicana Field. Carlos Pena took ball four against A’s lefty Dallas Braden and the field went dark. We’ve been delayed about 15 minutes so far, and they’re saying the lights should be back on in another 10 minutes or so. Since it’s only 4:30 p.m. local time, there’s a bit of light shining through the tent-like roof here, so we’re not sitting in darkness or anything.

I say this is karma for starting a day game at 4:08 instead of 12:30 or 1 o’clock …
