I’m not overly impressed with one good outing either. In fact, he’s never really impressed me. He strikes me as one of those guys who has the tools but can’t figure out how to use them effectively. A blind squirrel for sure.

I also put Daric Barton in the same category. It’s really too bad that his first call up a couple of years ago went so well. It may have messed with his head. Sad that batting .250 qualifies as a hot streak.

Loved yesterday’s game. Outman did a superb job without his breaking ball, the defense turned 4 double plays, and the offense was awesome. What a story Landon Powell’s effort was. I loved that he tried not to limp around the bases. I really hope the team can build on yesterday’s game.

On the Hannahan/Crosby issue, leave Hannahan at third stricktly for defensive reasons, and relegate Crosby to the Marco Scutaro roll.
