They envision him being traded to the SF Giants? They envision him being stuck in Single A, thus facing the San Jose Giants a lot? Or that he’ll be living in San Jose, playing for the Big Club, when the A’s eventually move to San Jose in a few years?

Carignan has been in Arizona for extended spring training while rehabbing a forearm injury. He should be close to returning, and last we heard he’ll go to Stockton and then up to Sacramento soon thereafter if all goes well.
