Abreu breaks up Anderson’s perfect game in seventh

Bobby Abreu ended Brett Anderson’s perfect game with two outs in the seventh, shooting a clean single between third base and shortstop on a 2-1 pitch. Anderson received a nice standing ovation from the Coliseum crowd. Then he promptly picked Abreu off first base, so he’s still faced the minimum.

Now, we’ll if his teammates can help him with some scoring against John Lackey … 0-0 entering the bottom of the seventh …
