9:40 (ET) is targeted start time

They just announced that first pitch is tentatively set for 9:40 local time (6:40 West Coast). The grounds crew is about to take the tarp off the field. There’s a pretty wicked wind whipping through the ballpark. We’ll see if that affects the way the ball flies out of Yankee Stadium, which has been a launching pad this season …
