		<description><![CDATA[Great to hear about Chavvy.  I hope he can come back and contribute to the team next year.  But he should be treated as anyone else:  if he doesn&#039;t contribute in a meaningful way on the field and at the plate, he should retire so that someone (maybe Wallace) can come up and play third base everyday.

From another post, either Abreu of Vlad would be good additions, sort of like Frank Thomas was.  As long as they still have good numbers at the plate, that is.

And I&#039;d sjut Braden down for the season.  I have a nerve problem in my ankle and rest is the only cure.  If you rush him back for a few starts or stints in the bullpen, he could reaggrevate it and go back to square one and he may not be ready for Spring Training.  Very bad idea.]]></description>
