If Chavvy isn’t playing third because he has to limit his throws, why throw him in at shortstop which often has longer throws than from third? Makes no sense to me. I don’t care how good Chavvy feels, he should be limited to first and DH for the first few months. If he ruins his shoulder playing third or short, I for one will be p****d. But then, I really don’t like much of what Bob Geren does, so why am I surprised?!

Great game last night against the Giants. Duke looked awesome on the mound and the bats were hot. Well, it was Barry Zito after all. He looked like he did in the first year of his ridiculous contract. No wonder our guys scored 5 runs off him in 3 innings. His spring training ERA was 6.35! The game was still lots of fun to watch!
