bummer about sheets. it could be easy to bash on beane, but at the time he was signed, it seemed like a reasonable move. maybe a bit pricey, but who knows who else was on their heels and well, the way oakland’s been montrealized these last few seasons, the a’s most likely have to pay a “play in oakland tax” to get free agents to come here. oh wel… either way, too bad for sheets.
