Rajai Davis back in center field for A’s

We’ll go short and sweet with this update, as the A’s try to delay the Rangers’ plans to celebrate …

–Rajai Davis is back in center field today after missing two games with a “non-baseball related issue.” Bob Geren stressed that Davis’ absence was “100 percent” not for disciplinary reasons.

–Michael Wuertz says the swelling has gone down in his right thumb and he’s available out of the bullpen.

–Daric Barton is the only left-handed hitter in the lineup against Texas’ Derek Holland, who is holding lefties to a .154 average.
