@ Bryan….you forgot Eric Karros, Frank Thomas and Mike Piazza. It doesn’t matter which aging free agent they sign….the guy will get hurt or have a bad season. The A’s are cursed. One would think that they were the Oakland Raiders….lol!

now that Dunn is gone, look past berkman please. he didnt do squat for NYY and thats with no pressure.

Pretty much official that Dunn is going to White Sox now, so A’s will have to focus elsewhere. They’re targeting Berkman, but surely looking for at least one more hitter …

sack it up and get Dunn. Berkman is just another Danny Tartabull/John Jaha/Giambi part2. With this pitching staff, you need to back up the arms with offense or they will be overworked and useless down the stretch.
