A’s, Rich Harden nearing one-year deal

I have a story posted on the A’s tentative one-year deal with pitcher Rich Harden. Remember him? Lots of details still to be completed before this contract is official, including a physical. It may be several days before we get an announcement.

this site is SOOOOO slow to report!!!! give us some news about the Willingham trade!!! Who is this guy?

Not a bad signing provided Rich is pegged as a long reliever and not a starter. Rich can be a great season long pitcher if he’s kept to 3 innings or less.
And with Willingham, only makes sense if he can replace Rajai Davis’s speed.
