Chris Townsend’s “foul language”? I listened to almost every one of his post-game shows last year and sorry, I have no idea what you are referring to. He was a great post-game host, giving lots of inside information and was very generous with his time, very pro-fan. I really don’t understand your point at all.

And why don’t other ballplayers do the same? I really looked forward to meeting the players this way when I was a kid. When Kouz was with the Padres, I saw a couple of games, and he was the only player from either team to eagerly sign autographs both before and after the game. Go Kouz!!!

All sounding good until the end there. Chris Townsend is the reason that I stopped listening to post-game A’s talk. I don’t understand the appeal of that particular tool, but I do know that as long as he’s allowed to spew his idiotic rants and spray his foul language, me and my son won’t be listening to anything but the game.
