Jan … I agree. First 500 and then fight for the division title. it’s amazing how a winning streak can dampen the pain of the 10 game losing streak.

Now is the time to up-grade with a trade for a power hitter.

Wesley, .500 isn’t the major goal. They’re only 5 games back after the team completely gave up on that other catcher. I think they can take the division if Weeks continues to play like he has in this short-time and Melvin manages like a manager is suppose to.

Marc…good call you said that the A’s would win the kc and giants series. Now getting back to 500 is the major goal for this team.

Melvin must have learned that from Roger Craig, back when Melvin played for Craig’s “Humm-Baby” teams. Craig preached the same thing about Candlestick being a home-field advantage for the Giants.
