John Fisher,Jed York and Mark Davis-the super rich out of touch with reality. While almost half of all Americans skirt poverty,these wealthy men go to the media and say “GIVE ME A STADIUM”..A billion dollar stadium.
And -while all claim they can afford the billion dollars- they also want the land of 21million more or less, REDUCED two thirds!.
SOMEBODY explain how they can say “Oh,we’ve got the billion for a stadium-but we dont have 14 million for land”..!..So,they want the taxpayers to give them millions of dollars in real estate-at OUR cost,out of OUR pockets!.BILLIONAIRES!
The rich have no shame.

Monte Poole’s rebuttal today..what I said. It’s Wolff and Fisher and Beane man who aren’t happy with the idea of a money making stadium in Oakland-it’s that they think a losing team in San Jose will make them more billions then they have. Greedy thoughts amok. Not a bit of Oakland civic pride or duties along with renovation and still making tens of millions.
These men are ALL already incredibly wealthy-and all they think of is..more..at everybody elses cost.
And lets not EVER forget..that wanting a new stadium doesnt excuse intentional loseing. And Beane’s give aways..defy any baseball reasoning.
It’s the .001% throwing a temper tantrum. They can go to hell!

Its only a 20 mile drive from Oakland to Silicon Valley-they travel the world via internet,but Oakland is too far for sponsorship??..uh,and whats Oracle and O.Co?

Mark Purdy always has the habit of coming to the conclusion that San Jose is ALWAYS the best spot. He’s a San Jose reporter. Like Lew Wolff who is a SAN JOSE LAND DEVELOPER also seems to prefer SJ over Oakland or even nice Fremont. And sure-if you swallow Lews claims Oakland turned down a great new Stadium at Lews expense,then Oakland is sure stupid. I have a feeling the city has another view,and prefers not to insult A’s group. When they try to move-more truth will come out as Oakland goes to court.
And we have seen as the A’s are destroyed as a functioning MLB team how truthful Billy Beane,Lew Wolff and John Fisher have been.

And thanks Joe for not stooping to the lowness of SF Gates beat writers..
For laughs Joe-type into Google about the A’s season..and a post made in 2009 by a SF Gate bleacher report and its all about how Beane’s “plan” (that evil word again) of rebuilding will come to fruition in about– three years!..

As great a deal as Ben Sheets and Justin the Duke. But,Geo we didnt need says Beane. More of mad Billys “plan”.
I’m sure three years from now-you can read this post on the internet..as “the move” has been postponed,the A’s finish last once again-third year in a row…and say, Stan was right.
Just horrible what Beane and John Fisher have done to Oakland.
