Funny,but I posted a couple of years ago,Carny Lansford should be made A’s manager instead of Geren. NOW,on THEGAMES old A’s players interviews..they all reference Carny as their leader.
But,that’s why a Beane would never hire a Carny.

This isn’t as bad a team as it was before Slick tried and made a decent trade and signing of Yoenis..but Beane’a excuses,his excess trading and no willingness to keep stars that fans can bond with..Beane is operating with Wallstreet,not Cooperstown mentality.
btw-Candlestick,old…sell out for 49er games,the Warriors sell out..the Cowboys sellouts AND the stadium..cant win. Maybe its all in the org.’s head that fancy seats for three hours means more then a community feel for your team?
And the 49ers?..hire Harbaugh and they win…Now Jed gets his new stadium,old time fans are getting 80 grand bills for seats!..don’t get me started.

The offense is about as weak as I’ve ever seen. Almost everyone is hitting below .200.
