IMPORTANT UPDATE: The A’s made a switch and decided to recall infielder Josh Donaldson from Triple-A Sacramento rather than outfielder Michael Taylor. Basically, had they brought back Taylor, they would have only been able to backdate Yoenis Cespedes’ DL stint to Friday rather than Monday. By opting for Donaldson over Taylor, Cespedes is eligible to come off the DL earlier.
