Was at the game in 06 against the Twins when Scutaro came through to get us into the series with Detroit. Probably the funnest game I’ve been at as an adult.

Why not inquire about Marco scutaro? Would be an upgrade over the position now. He wouldn’t upset the clubhouse chemistry and he always seemed to come through with timely hits. Plus he wouldn’t cost much compared to other options! Someone get me Billy beane’s office!

Sogard is 26 & put up excellent numbers at AAA…why not give him a shot at SS rather than Escobar/Drew who are little upside players

Pennington and co have been painful to watch this year.
Grant Green must really be bad at shortstop to not even get a sniff considering whose in front of him at that position.
Even someone hitting 245 or so with moderate power would be a big time upgrade over what Oakland’s been trotting out and that’s saying something.
First instinct would be to say no to anything having to do with Anderson, but if they can get rid of Cahill and Gonzalez, then it’s not that unreasonable to consider Anderson too. It’s not like Oakland’s gotten anything from him for the past year anyway and it’s always easier to be seduced by potential as opposed to actual results.
