Reactions: Brandon McCarthy comes home after brain surgery

McCarthy, the popular A’s pitcher who was hit in the head by a comebacker on Sept. 5, was able to return home with wife Amanda on Tuesday. McCarthy needed surgery to relieve pressure on his brain less than a week ago. The photo below, and McCarthy’s return to Twitter, should provide relief to many.
